While them boys were out on the water , I could only imagine how they were feeling .. hopeless , w.o a catch , frustrated & probably defeated . Having been working all night , waiting for a catch that seemed almost unattainable , a trial that would have required an amount of faith that Simon probably didn’t have was presented before him . Yet , when the Lord* made His appearance before him at probably one of his lowest moments in life , he didn’t hesitate to obey the instructions at hand . As I am sure there was some amount of doubt in the picture , Simon OBEYED . In his obedience , he was able to receive all that the Lord* had in store for him that day & in return , what was once unattainable became a defining moment in the walk of faith that Simon would later conquer . May this post one day inspire & motivate my kids (all 10 of them) & YOURSELF (you who are reading this) to not only “keep going” , but to “try it w. GOD*” 🥲 Because I TRIED it w.
