When we were young, this photo was often published in newspapers, claiming that Pakistani soldiers were forcing people to remove their lungis to check if they were circumcised. In reality, this photo shows an Indian soldier. It was taken by Kishore Parekh and published in his book Brutal Birth. The book clearly identifies the soldier's affiliation in the caption. You can find the PDF of the book online — a simple Google search will lead you to it, and you can verify this for yourself. I was the first to publish this evidence on Facebook. When I presented the proof, the so-called "woke" nationalists of Bengal attacked me viciously. Even today, you will see many trying to prove that this photo shows a Pakistani soldier. That’s when the attacks on me really began. They realized that I would continue to expose these false myths one by one — and they needed to stop me. Since then, I have kept breaking one false narrative after another: The myth that America fully supported our Liberation War. The myth that Islamic scholars were uniformly against the Liberation War. The myth that all rajakars wore beards, skullcaps, and traditional Islamic attire. The myth that the Liberation War was fought solely to establish secularism. The myth that the Muslim League alone was responsible for the partition of the country. As long as I live, I will continue to sweep away the dust and dirt from our true history. Without a clean and honest understanding of our national history, we cannot move forward.
