#WhyWednesday Why do we implement rear-foot elevated (RFE) and front-foot elevated (FFE) movements in our programs? Rear-foot elevation increases unilateral loading, allowing athletes to build maximal lower-body strength and power without excessive compressive stress on the spine. Front-foot elevation promotes deeper ranges of motion, improving joint health, mobility, and overall movement quality. RFE = Increased Strength & Power • Builds max strength with reduced spinal load • Corrects left-to-right imbalances • Greater muscular stretch and force production FFE = Increased Mobility & Control • Improves movement quality and joint health • Ideal for athletes lacking ankle mobility • Allows for deeper, more controlled ranges ➡️ Same movement pattern. Different purpose. Each variation is strategically programmed to meet specific performance needs—ensuring our athletes train with efficiency, intent, and long-term progress. #ETSFam #UnCommon #OftenImitated #NeverDuplicated
