What started with a simple, “I’ll create something tomorrow”, quickly turned into weeks, months, then nearly half a year without having created or posted anything. I had fallen out of touch with my drive and passion to create. It became increasingly more evident with every passing day that my environment and lack of any work life balance had put a dramatic damper on my desire to make anything meaningful for myself. I was purely floating through the motions day in and day out. Something had to change. Luckily for me, @PGYTECH reached out to me with an opportunity to join their new Creator Expedition Program. Of all the brands I decide to rep, PGYTECH stands as one of the greatest stemming all the way back to my first real camera bag purchase with the original OneMo backpack. Now that I had an incentive and a reason to create for myself, there was just one thing left I needed to change, and the answer was clear to me. It was finally time to move to Chicago. After over three years of commuting to and from the city for work and leisure, I decided it was time for me to leave the nest that had been holding me back, and move towards the friends and community I’ve gained throughout my career here. Without these individuals, Chicago wouldn’t have even been an option for me. And now that I’m here with the support of PGYTECH, I’m more excited than ever to explore my new environment alongside all of my fellow creators.
