That's just how I operate now and I wouldn't have it any other way. I came to faith broken, not on the other side of getting it together, and He met me exactly there. He'd been showing up in my life long before I acknowledged Him, patient in a way I didn't deserve and persistent in a way I couldn't ignore. When I finally turned around He didn't hand me a list of conditions. He just took what was broken and made it His. I don't know how to say that without it sounding like a cliche but I also know it's the truest thing about my life. This body is capable of hard things and so is the faith that lives in it, and I've stopped acting like that's a coincidence. God steadies me through the hard parts. The fear doesn't always disappear but it stops being in charge, and that shift right there is what I mean when I say faith over fear, not the absence of hard things but the presence of something greater inside them. Make me someone who speaks truth even when silence is easier. That's a prayer I carry into this space and everywhere else, because somebody out there needs to know He's real and He's not waiting for you to arrive cleaned up and ready. He never was. ๐Ÿ“– Romans 5:8 โ€œBut God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.โ€ โžก๏ธ While we were still sinners. He didnโ€™t wait. He still doesnโ€™t. Thatโ€™s the Gospel and itโ€™s for everyone reading this right now. เผ’โ€ขIf this resonated with you, tap the ๐Ÿ’ž and stick around.โ€ขเผ’ #weighteddips #womenwholift #strengthtraining #fitover50 #faithandfitness #daughteroftheking #jesussaves #fypใ‚ทใ‚š #foryourpages
