They are currently at the city shelter and this post will be updated with the correct rescues info once they are safe and tagged. Shelter plea: We have two sweet dogs taken out of a horrible situation.  They were chained up to trees, and both are emaciated.  Despite these conditions they still seek affection from humans.   They will need an experienced foster who can monitor their diet and give them the proper vet care.  🛑The rescue group that saves them must follow up with me regarding their weight and medical updates for the cruelty notes.🛑 — Wow I’m just speechless, I was sent this plea and obviously felt I needed to go meet these two. I’m naming the girl Tulip & the boy Theo. How crazy is it that people who keep their dogs like this, walk among us? I always think about that and it just blows my mind. Do these people have family who see this and just turn the other way? Anyway, thankfully animal control confiscated tulip and Theo from hell on earth but now they need our help. Due to the circumstances they are rescue only. It is important both of these go to a good rescue who will use pledges for their medical bills and can show they’re doing right by them. They need good patient fosters. Dogs who were chained up like this need structure and need someone patient and ready for any issues that may come up.
