Two cards from the same deck today. 🃏❤️ First question: How often do you answer truthfully when someone asks, “How are you?” For me, honesty doesn’t always require full disclosure. Context matters. There’s a difference between someone casually asking how you’re doing at a birthday party and someone you trust sitting across from you genuinely wanting to know what’s going on inside of you. Both answers can contain truth, without everybody receiving the same level of access. But the second card really made me think: “Has a stranger ever changed your life?” Absolutely. There are people whose names I don’t even know who have said something to me that I still carry years later. Words that reached me before I fully understood why I needed them. Things that were so painfully specific to what I was experiencing internally that they stayed with me- and sometimes I can still hear those peoples voices when I need those words again. Spiritually, I’ve always interpreted moments like this as guidance finding it’s way to me through another person. Maybe they had no idea what their words meant. Maybe they never thought about the interaction again. But I did. And I think that’s a beautiful reminder of how much impact we can have on another human being without ever realizing it. Sometimes you might be a stranger in somebody else’s story… And still become a sentence they carry for the rest of their life.❤️ Has a stranger ever said something to you that you never forgot?
