There was a season where I didn’t understand the lesson that God was trying to reveal because it was a place I didn’t want to walk through. I tried to survive my storms without God, convincing myself I could outrun the rain and rebuild what was breaking with my own hands. But the more I fought alone, the more the storm revealed what I refused to see. I was filled with unresolved anger and I made choices without having any reasonings. However, it stripped me down to honesty and forced me into the kind of reflection that only comes when everything else falls silent. And in that stillness, I finally called out to God, not because I was strong, but because I had nothing left to lean on but Him. When God wants your attention and you keep walking without obedience, He doesn’t abandon you; He allows the winds to rise just enough to remind you who holds the authority over every wave. He reclaims your wandering heart, gathers your scattered faith, and lifts you back onto the path you lost. In His sovereignty, He didn’t let me drown; He used the storm to guide me home. So through this new journey I’m so proud of myself; I understand that God doesn’t waste the hard seasons; he refines you through them, so what felt like broken was often God reshaping. By trusting the process; I’m fully aware that God is working in rooms I can’t enter, conversations I’ll never hear, and timelines I can’t imagine because He’s arranging everything with purpose. As I’m transparent with you all I have days I rise and some days I crumble but overall ever since I stepped off the path I wasn’t meant to walk and chose to return to God with real obedience, everything shifted. My days feel brighter, my nights carry more peace, and the heaviness I once lived with no longer owns me. When I aligned myself with Him instead of my own understanding, clarity replaced confusion and restoration replaced struggle. God didn’t just pull me back; He lit the way forward. Listen a quiet heart hears God more clearly than a loud world ever could. Unbothered is what this new season looks like for me. #healing #god #peace #forgiveness #smiles
