𝐖𝐄 𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐍𝐎𝐓 𝐓𝐎 𝐁𝐄 𝐅𝐎𝐎𝐋𝐄𝐃 𝐋𝐞𝐭’𝐬 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐢𝐭 𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫. The 𝙉𝙋𝘼 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙞𝙣𝙛𝙞𝙡𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙨𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙧𝙪𝙞𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝 into their cause, conduct killings against civic workers, luring young people into the service of pleasure for high-ranking NPA officials, and ensuring instability and lack of development interest in our country. They attack our armed forces who keep our peace and security, 𝙚𝙭𝙥𝙡𝙤𝙞𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙇𝙪𝙢𝙖𝙙𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙢 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙧 𝙛𝙖𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙘𝙖𝙪𝙨𝙚 and portray themselves as supposedly martyred victims for doing despicable actions. Parents are grieving about their missing, dead, and brainwashed children, while the NPA are remorseless about those practices. They portray themselves as the saints for and of the proletariat while harming the proletariat, causing them grief, and taking no accountability for it. Once caught to their deeds, they proceed to gaslight everyone about it and blame the government for performing their rightful deeds of defending the country from them. 𝐋𝐞𝐭’𝐬 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐢𝐭 𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐫 The Philippine government is even allowing their dissent and have not restricted their right – and our right – to disagree with the ideology and the system of the government. 𝘼𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙩𝙚𝙣 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙨, 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙜𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙤𝙣𝙡𝙮 𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙖𝙘𝙠𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙉𝙋𝘼 𝙢𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧. There’s no widespread purging of communist believers, and the books of Sison and Marx are readily available in bookstores. The Philippine government allows dissent, and our Constitution even protects it. Now look the other way and see who performs purity purges for the sake of ideological purity? 𝙒𝙝𝙞𝙘𝙝 𝙤𝙧𝙜𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙯𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙪𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙞𝙩𝙨 𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙣𝙤𝙪𝙨 𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙖𝙘𝙘𝙤𝙧𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙮𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙢 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙜𝙮? 𝐖𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐈𝐒 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐂𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐓 𝐓𝐑𝐔𝐓𝐇 𝙄𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙉𝙋𝘼 𝙬𝙝𝙤 𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙗𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙚, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙋𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙂𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩. It is the NPA who chooses perpetual war given their ideology and their aim to create utopia and a classless society through armed, revolutionary struggle. The Philippine government wants peace, and secures peace, and even entertains to give the communists and similar left-leaning groups a seat in the Legislation. I wonder if the NPA would ever consider doing the same; would they allow dissent in their ranks? Given their consistent behaviors the answer is definitive “no” in nine hundred ninety-nine thousand and nine hundred ninety-nine counts, and one count of “yes”, likely from a member to be executed the very next minute after he or she gives her dissenting answer. 𝙄𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙉𝙋𝘼, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙋𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙂𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩, 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙨𝙚𝙨 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙥𝙚𝙩𝙪𝙖𝙡 𝙬𝙖𝙧 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙗𝙨 𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙚. Lastly, before anyone claims that the Philippine Government also recruits the youth for war through the ROTC programs, let it be known that 𝙗𝙚𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙍𝙊𝙏𝘾 𝙙𝙤𝙚𝙨 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙢𝙚𝙖𝙣 𝙗𝙚𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙤 𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚-𝙙𝙪𝙩𝙮 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨 and being drafted into service. ROTC graduates can decline to join active service and remain non-combatant civilians. 𝙈𝙚𝙖𝙣𝙬𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙚, 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙉𝙋𝘼 𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙥𝙪𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝 into serving their cause, eventually bringing them to the mountains to become cannon fodder.
