Because behind the woman standing here as a Chief Guest is a little girl who was raised by a working mother. My mother is still working. She had responsibilities, deadlines and a life of her own. But she never made me feel that I was neglected. She showed me that being a working mother does not mean loving your child any less. She taught me that children don't need perfect parents. They need present hearts, strong values, love, guidance and time that truly matters. And perhaps that is why this moment felt so special.
