Sometimes the depression isn’t the first problem. Sometimes it comes after years of untreated ADHD: constantly falling behind, disappointing yourself, being misunderstood, getting called lazy, and wondering why basic things feel so much harder for you than everyone else. ADHD doesn’t automatically cause depression. But living with unsupported ADHD can create a pretty brutal cycle of stress, shame, burnout, and low self-worth. And when you finally understand the ADHD, a lot of the “what is wrong with me?” can start making a whole lot more sense. #ADHD #ADHDHelp #Neurodivergent #ADHDAwarness
