Sometimes creating your own patterns may be difficult, specially when the pieces are adjusted to your body, have strange shapes or are connected to each other. I follow this process most of the times when I need patterns for new cosplay pieces: wrap myself or a part of my body in plastic and tape, draw the design, cut out, clean the pattern and test again!
