Something I practice every day is making small, steady progress, even if it may not look like much from the outside. I may have only put a few pieces together today, but most of my time was spent on the behind-the-scenes work. I handled administrative tasks, planned how multiple pieces come together, learned how each layer should be laid out, and figured out the order in which everything needs to be sewn. I also spent time testing different color and fabric combinations to see what works best together. One of my main goals for my brand is to create designs that are truly one of a kind, not copied or repeated. Mastering the basics and fully understanding the process is a key part of getting there.
