So long friends🥹✌️✌️. While often considered an advantage, being exceptionally tall comes with hidden, daily challenges that make life unexpectedly difficult. The world is designed for the average person, forcing tall individuals to constantly adapt to an environment that is too small, leading to physical discomfort and social awkwardness. Physically, tall people often endure chronic pain. Low doorways, shower heads, and cramped car seats cause regular, painful collisions and necessitate a perpetual slouch, resulting in back and neck problems. Sleeping can be uncomfortable, with feet hanging off standard beds. Furthermore, finding clothing and shoes is a frustrating and expensive endeavor, as standard retail stores rarely stock long inseams or large shoe sizes. Socially, tall people are impossible to ignore. They stand out in crowds, often feeling self-conscious, and are frequently subjected to repetitive, tiring questions, such as "Do you play basketball?" or "How's the weather up there?". Their height can sometimes make others feel intimidated or uncomfortable, despite their friendly intentions. Lastly, there are serious health considerations, as studies have shown that taller individuals may face a higher risk of blood clots and certain cancers. While there are advantages, the daily, inescapable struggle against a short world makes life significantly harder.
