Short stack this week, but all very solid contributions. Finished up Fire Punch, and that definitely a series I will need to reread. I think the one thing that felt a bit off overall was the movie theme? It was consistent throughout the series, but the entire time it just never seemed to fit, to the point it took me out of the world too much. Overall series rating for me was 7.5… but with a reread that may change. Phantom busters is such a silly, band of misfits storyline. It’s a lot of fun and just the right vibe shift for a lot of my darker reads. Ghostly Things has been on my search list for a while, glad to finally get my hands on vol 1. It was a bit jarring how easy she folded into her role, and everyone is so friendly… honestly reminds me of Tohru Honda in fruits baskets with her ability to ‘this is normal’ strange things. #mangarecommendation #mangareview #firepunch #phantombusters #ghostlythings
