𝐂𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐨: 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐛𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 Senate President Alan Peter Cayetano said the Senate remains open to working with different groups and stakeholders, provided that cooperation is anchored on what is right and consistent with the country’s interests. Sen. Kuya Alan stressed that while collaboration is important in governance, the Senate must continue exercising its independence and should not be subjected to pressure or dictated upon, particularly on sensitive matters such as proposals involving constitutional change.
