Practice make PROGRESS! McKenna had been working really closely on timing for her quick 1s in the middle, and in this session we focused mainly on two things: 1️⃣ Keeping her hips open to the setter to help build more torque and power to our hit. (Power comes from our CORE and NOT our SHOULDERS!) 2️⃣ working to reach higher with our left (guiding) arm and as the left arm drops, we reach higher with our right shoulder and let the right arm whip through the top of the ball. She made some great progress this Spring and I’m excited to see her continue to hone in on these mechanics.
