Let’s create 2 unique backgrounds using a technique called Reverse Stenciling! And you’ll have background panels ready to go for your next card! Created by @irishrosecreations Supplies: Ranger: -Make-It Stencil: Sprinkle Hearts -Make-It Stamp: Wild Hearts -Embossing Powder: Verdigris, Gold -Emboss it Clear pad -Stickles: Copper -Medium Brayer Tim Holtz Distress Sprayer 49 and Market Inks: Sunrise, Rainforest, Mint Chill Simon Hurley create. Stark White Cardstock Other: Sizzix/49M Thinlits Snap & Swap dies #667062 Gelli plate Instructions: -Apply 49M inks over gelli plate + spray plate with Distress Sprayer. -Trim a piece of the White Cardstock to 5.5x4.25. Place it over the inked up gelli plate + press down lightly. Carefully remove cardstock. -Repeat steps #1 and #2 again (you will have 2 colored background panels when finished). Stenciling: Apply 49M ink onto gelli plate + spray over the ink with water. Place stencil over the ink. Place one of the previously inked-up card panels over the stencil, inked side facing down + rub firmly with hand. Remove the card panel. Reverse Stenciling: Remove the stencil from the gelli plate, but don’t remove the ink that’s left on it! Instead, spray the ink remaining on the stencil with water + stamp the stencil over the 2nd inked-up card panel, pressing firmly. Remove the card panel. To Finish: Trim one of the inked card panels to 5.25x4. Rough up the edges of the panel with scissors. Using the scalloped edge die, trim the 2nd card panel to 3” at the length. Die cut along one of the long edges with the scalloped die. Adhere to other card panel in the upper left corner. Apply Clear pad randomly over the edges of the card panel. Add embossing powder + heat set. Apply Copper Stickles randomly to scalloped piece. Adhere finished card panel to A2 white card base. Heat emboss Always & Forever stamp image, flower + the key using Gold + Verdigris embossing powder + Clear Pad onto White CS. Apply the embossing powders one at a time + apply randomly. Repeat 2 more times for a thick embossed image. Fussy cut design elements + adhere to card panel.
