Your eye muscles are made to help your eyes move in many different directions, and won’t get stuck if you roll your eyes in frustration, annoyance, or just at a bad joke. And trust me - 16-year-old me did this enough times to drive my mom crazy. I’m sure she wished that they would get stuck, but alas, they still work just fine.
