It was 2024, and Ringo was being auctioned for the third time in just a matter of months. Thankfully, y’all helped us win his bid for $475. Untrained with an old leg injury, Ringo was worth more by the pound than the cost it would take to get him sound and mentally ready for training. We took a chance on him. While X-rays showed a slight change in the bone near his old injury, our vet felt that with proper care and conditioning, he should be suitable as a non-performance riding partner. Fast forward to today — and he looks amazing. Follow-up X-rays taken a few weeks ago showed no change from his first X-rays a year ago, and he has officially been cleared for training. In just a few days we will see if he gets picked for the HoH challenge. 🙏❤️ And don’t let the fly boots fool you!
