𝗝𝗔𝗠𝗕 𝗘𝗫𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗦 𝗪𝗛𝗬 𝗖𝗔𝗣𝗦 𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗪𝗦 "𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗔𝗗𝗠𝗜𝗧𝗧𝗘𝗗" — 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗛𝗢𝗪 𝗧𝗢 𝗙𝗜𝗫 𝗜𝗧 If you've checked your admission status on the JAMB CAPS (Central Admissions Processing System) portal and it still shows "𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗔𝗱𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗱" even though you expected admission, don't panic. There are several reasons a candidate may see this status, and some issues can be corrected. 𝗪𝗛𝗬 𝗖𝗔𝗣𝗦 𝗠𝗔𝗬 𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗪 "𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗔𝗗𝗠𝗜𝗧𝗧𝗘𝗗" 𝟭. 𝗕𝗶𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 Differences in your name, date of birth, gender, or other personal details between your JAMB profile, NIN, O'Level result, and institutional records can create problems during admission processing. 𝟮. 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗿 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗢'𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁 Your O'Level result must be properly uploaded and meet the requirements for your chosen programme. A missing, incorrect, or unverified result can affect admission processing. 𝟯. 𝗪𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘂𝗯𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 Each course has specific UTME and O'Level subject requirements. If your registered subjects or O'Level subjects do not satisfy the requirements for your programme, you may be considered ineligible. 𝟰. 𝗖𝘂𝘁-𝗢𝗳𝗳 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 Meeting JAMB's minimum requirement does not automatically guarantee admission. Institutions and departments may have their own requirements, and admission also depends on available spaces and the institution's admission criteria. 𝟱. 𝗡𝗜𝗡 𝗢𝗿 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗘𝗿𝗿𝗼𝗿𝘀 Incorrect or inconsistent NIN information may cause problems where candidate records need to match across systems. Any discrepancy should be investigated and corrected through the appropriate channel. 𝗛𝗢𝗪 𝗧𝗢 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗢𝗟𝗩𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗜𝗦𝗦𝗨𝗘 𝟭. 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗝𝗔𝗠𝗕 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗲 Log in to your JAMB eFacility profile and carefully check your name, date of birth, gender and other personal information. If there is an error, use the appropriate JAMB correction service. 𝟮. 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗳𝘆 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗢'𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁 Confirm that your O'Level result has been correctly uploaded and that the required subjects and grades are properly reflected on your JAMB record. 𝟯. 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 Confirm that your UTME and O'Level subjects meet the requirements for your chosen course. Also check your institution's admission and departmental requirements. 𝟰. 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗲 𝗡𝗜𝗡 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘀 If your NIN details are incorrect or do not match your records, contact NIMC through the appropriate channel to correct the information, then ensure your JAMB record reflects the correct details. 𝗜𝗠𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗧: Seeing "𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗔𝗱𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗱" on CAPS does not necessarily mean the admission process is permanently over. Admission lists can be uploaded and updated at different stages, so candidates should continue checking their CAPS status and follow official instructions from their institution and JAMB. Candidates facing difficulties with O'Level uploads, JAMB result printing, admission processing, regularisation, admission-letter printing, CAPS access, Post-UTME registration, correction of personal details, or mismatched candidate information can reach us for assistance.
