Dynamic vs. Static Stretching —they’re not the same. Dynamic stretching is movement-based and wakes your muscles up. It increases blood flow, coordination, and power… which is why it belongs before your workout. Static stretching is all about the hold. It helps you relax, reduce tension, and improve flexibility. Perfect for after your workout or during a cool-down. And here’s the important part❗️ Long static holds before lifting or running can temporarily reduce strength and explosiveness. Short holds (15–30 sec) are fine if they’re part of a full warm-up.
