Dynamic Setpoints: Better Voltage Stability with Almost No Extra Tap Changes ⚡ Dynamic voltage regulation does not necessarily result in a major increase in tap operations. In this practical example, current influence noticeably smoothened the voltage conditions while the average number of tap changes increased only slightly. In this Short, we compare operation with and without current influence and show how the setpoint can be adjusted according to active power. The recorded data shows an increase from 3.6 to approximately four tap changes per day. Christian Schobert (Product Manager »REGSys«) provides an overview of dynamic setpoint control, wide-area voltage control, variable shunt reactors and phase-shifting transformers for modern power grids. ►► Watch the full video here: tinyurl.com/regsysentt ► Learn more about our product portfolio: www.a-eberle.de/en/product-portfolio/ ► Career opportunities at A.
