In fact…I will never forget waiting for my first customer to come along and finally having them gracing my proverbial doorstep. With time, experience, and exposure has come greater interest and it is a gift I will always be thankful for. All of that said, however….I am not a mass producer nor manufacturer. I don’t make dreadlocks to make big money. I don’t work fast to crunch out more orders. I am not a corporation/big business/wholesaler. I don’t even know if it is reasonable to call myself a small business. I am more like…a micro-business. A hand-maker. One single loc at a time. With love and intention. For the woman who wants to feel seen and confident and herself. Every single loc has all of my attention. I am MAKING something and it matters to me. My creations are not for everyone. Other people’s creations are not necessarily for me. Art is so personal. Right?! You like what you like! And dreadlocks are ART (prove me wrong) and that is why they are so incredibly diverse and beautiful! If you want to buy loc extensions…look for what pleases YOUR EYES. Be choosy. Take screenshots. Read reviews. This is FOR YOU so take your sweet-ass time! Once you find an artist you like…reach out. Tell them you love their work. I have found that flattery will get you everywhere. Especially with me! Ask them if they might be interested in making something WITH you. It is a relationship. You are working together with your artist to create something new and totally unique. There are other ways to buy dreadlocks and they can be great, too. But if you are looking for something customized and one-of-a-kind…choose your artist and work WITH them to bring your vision to life. Trust them and your love for their style to make something that will make your heart sing. PS this is a custom order for the sweetest soul—>Miss Faith. It is 50 double-ended Anna curl locs in a beautiful blend of blonde/white/silver. I added in a few braids with lace, threads, and beads because I can’t help myself. Then we added in 4 hair wraps because life is too short to be without 4 hair wraps!!! The combination is breathtaking. The ends are loose waves that can be gently combed daily while the centers are crocheted into a locked state. Truly…does it get any more beautiful?
