Comment “HIPS” to get access to my exact training plan & protocols designed to get you strong AND mobile hips. 📝 How to fix your tight hips ↓ 1️⃣ COPENHAGEN RAISE • Support yourself on your side with one leg elevated, then get into a side plank (top position) • Control the descent to your lowest range and drive your foot’s inner edge into the pad to drive your body back up → Start on the ground or with a normal bench. Strengthens adductors, groin, and core! 2️⃣ LEG RAISES • Hang from a bar and lift your legs up explosively, as high as you can • Strengthens your hip flexors, core, and lower spine, especially if you start from the very bottom → A solid but brutal choice to develop strength that’ll carry through to other movements. 3️⃣ SPLIT SQUATS • Control your descent down to the deepest range and drive your front knee forward • Try to keep your front foot’s heel down, but it’s ok if it hovers a bit…your ankle mobility will improve over time → Solid option for building unilateral lower body strength and mobility, that targets the ankles, knees, and hips all at once 🫂 Share to someone who needs healthier hips~
