Bus progress update video. Life progress update novel below ⬇️ Today was a Sunday and we had stormy springtime weather.  I slept in till like 10:30 then had a light breakfast and studied for my firefighting 1001.  After, I went outside and finished hanging a gate for the dog yard, that my sister and I built yesterday, had lunch with my dad and puttered around for a few hours tidying our yards. All the while tossing a ball for Bonita. Once it started getting darker I came back in stripped the linens, did laundry and most of the dishes, swept the floor and tidied up. Exciting stuff, I know, BUT I did it on my schedule. To my standards.  I know that, at 42, I'm supposed to be lamenting that I don't have a partner and kids and a mortgage,  but I gotta be honest, I am SO much happier when I just get a day alone without anyone having opinions about the things I do.  Every year that goes past my introversion sets in deeper and I'm more interested in spending time  slowly turning my homes into the perfect childhood dream fort, than going to festivals. Don't get me wrong, I miss live music and the core humans that I've bonded with in those spaces, but the risk of benifit (or rather, not benifiting) seems to outway the costs for me now. How does one meet people who just want to quitly go camping and then comfortably not communicate for weeks on end? Whisper to the trees and hope they pass it on? Lol.  Alone is good though. Alone is peace. Alone is how we come into the world and how we will leave it, so being happy must mean living with less fear. #buslife #tinyhome #livingalone #dog #bus
