Bro 😭😭 Trigger warning obviously (also important to note I'm not officially diagnosed with BPD or Bipolar disorder, HOWEVER my grandmother had schizo-effective bipolar disorder, and on this day I believe I was experiencing something similar to acute mania. I remember feeling unstoppable and super excited, and I didn't sleep for two nights. I also remember convincing myself that there were people outside my window and that they were going to break in. I remember being terrified that night but so energetic the next day despite getting no sleep. I was much more impulsive, and did multiple substances before self harming. I was shaking for hours and couldn't feel my tongue 😭 I am fortunate enough to not have to experience such episodes as often as people diagnosed with Bipolar disorder, but it is still something I am looking into.
