Breaking down the differences between bronzer and contour with application methods, tips, and techniques for mature skin. Bronzer is used to add warmth to the complexion. Think of bronzer as a suntan for the face and focus placement on areas where the sun naturally hits you. Because bronzer mimics the sun, we can cover a larger surface area of the face, and therefore use a larger brush. Contour adds definition and can change or enhance bone structure by placing shadows onto the face. Because contours mimic shadows, they have cooler almost grayish tones. We want to use smaller, more precise brushes, and cover much smaller areas of the face. We need a lot of control with contour. Concealer works the same way, but in reverse. Instead of adding or redirecting shadows, concealer adds, and redirects light. #makeuptutorial #bronzer #bronzertutorial #contour #contourtutorial
