Back in March, I joined a 2-day Homecare Volunteer Training with MAPPAC (Malaysian Association of Paediatric Palliative Care) — thinking I was just there to learn. Turns out… March had other plans. We explored how people communicate in their own quirky, beautiful ways — through buttons, air clay, and even doodles. (Yes, buttons! Who knew healing conversations could start with something you’d find in your grandma’s sewing kit?) The more I learned about holding space for others, the more I found myself holding space for… well, me. See, I’m loud, cheerful, and a certified goofball. Some say I’m “too much.” But I’m also deep, passionate, and annoyingly persistent when I care (which is... always). For a long time, I kept thinking I needed to tone it down or pick a side. But March gently reminded me: I’m allowed to be all of me. Support doesn’t have to be loud. Growth doesn’t have to be tidy. And being present — truly present — can sometimes mean being your wonderfully imperfect self. #elenatongmy #AllieTheJolly #SelfAcceptanceJourney #VolunteerChronicles #MarchReflections  #TooMuchAndJustRight #LoudWithLove #PalliativeCareAwareness #PresentNotPerfect #LearningToBeMe #JoyWithDepth #MAPPAC #RejoiceWithHeart #EmbraceTheMess
