According to open-source intelligence, a Belarusian Rubystar Ilyushin Il-76TD cargo aircraft (registration EW-567TH) has made three consecutive flights from Minsk to Eritrea in recent days. The aircraft was confirmed to have landed in Eritrea most likely at Massawa Airport before departing for Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and returning to Belarus. These flights are believed to be transporting military equipment. It appears Eritrea is continuing to acquire additional weapons. Belarus is known as a source of relatively cheap and useful Russian military equipment. OSINT trackers have previously recorded multiple similar flights by the same aircraft and other Belarusian freighters to Eritrea since at least mid-2025. Exact totals since 2023 remain incomplete in public sources, but the pattern of activity has been notable. #Eritrea #Belarus #Russia #Ethiopia @Negus🇪🇷 @Negus @TigrinyaLowlander🏞️
