A Personal Milestone. A Message to Every Immigrant. 🇨🇦❤️ When I immigrated to Canada a few years ago, I already had a Bachelor's Degree in Physiotherapy, a Master's Degree in Public Health, and an established career in healthcare, having risen to the position of Assistant Director of Physiotherapy at the University College Hospital, Ibadan, Nigeria. I had also completed a law degree from the University of London. Yet immigration taught me that success in a new country often requires us to learn, adapt, and sometimes start over. After arriving in Canada, I attended Ashton College and became a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC). But I knew there was still more I wanted to achieve. I wanted to deepen my understanding of the Canadian legal system, so I returned to school full-time and completed the two-year Internationally Trained Lawyer Pathway (ITLP) at the University of Alberta. Today, I am grateful to have received my Certificate of Qualification from the National Committee on Accreditation (NCA). This achievement is not just about me. It is a reminder to every immigrant that your journey does not end when you arrive—it is only beginning. Do not be discouraged. Do not be afraid to start over. Do not be afraid to dream bigger. Sometimes the path to your goals will require new qualifications, additional training, and sacrifices you never expected. That does not mean you are moving backwards. It means you are building a stronger foundation for the future. Your previous experience is not wasted. It becomes the foundation for your next chapter. Keep learning. Keep growing. Keep moving forward. One day, you will look back and realize that every sacrifice, every late night, every setback, and every new beginning was worth it. The future version of yourself will thank you for it. 🇨🇦⚖️❤️
