𝗣𝘂𝗳𝗳 𝗔𝗱𝗱𝗲𝗿 (𝗕𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘀) 𝗛𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗟𝗬 𝗩𝗘𝗡𝗢𝗠𝗢𝗨𝗦 A highly venomous juvenile Puff Adder relocated from a residence in Qonce, Eastern Cape. The snake was spotted on a small tree about a meter off the ground. While the Puff Adder is primarily a terrestrial snake, it is a capable climber and can sometimes be found in small trees, bushes, or shrubbery. Mother snakes generally do not travel with, care for, or stay with their babies, nor do they form social bonds, nurture their young, or travel in pairs.
