This late afternoon at 6pm I walked into #Beadniks with the intention of repairing a couple of anklets of mine not realizing that because I was victimized here four years ago when high school kids stole my personal belongings that I had been banned by the owner for sharing my story in Chicago's Nextdoor app! When the owner of #beadniks in #Wickerpark read my personal story warning other people shopping 🛍 on Division street she begged me to remove my personal story and sent me $25 to compensate me for all dog and cat treats I bought for my pets that were stolen by high school kids because the manager neglected to lock their shop door for me while I was busy doing repair work on my anklets and buying extra beads. I was told by the manager today that I am not welcome there and was paid $25 by the owner to make sure Id never go back there! There was wave of crime on Division street where high school kids shoplift and grab shoppers purses, backpacks and personal belongings so I felt the need to share my story because no one helped me that night and the staff wasn't very concerned for my well being nor did they lock the door to the shop even though they are aware of the crime being committed on that block in Ukrainian Village @beadniks_chicago I am sharing my honest account here tonight to warn people that yes there are people who target shoppers in Ukrainian Village so please keep your belongings with you at all times. The store managers will not help you #shoplifting in #chicago
