Replying to @GeorgiaRose When boys are sexually abused by adult women, society often minimizes it, especially when the perpetrator is a female teacher. In my 40-plus years as a psychotherapist, I’ve worked with heterosexual men who believed they initiated the abuse, felt proud of it, or considered it their first sexual experience—even when they were only 3 to 7 years old. A child cannot consent to sexual activity with an adult. Even if he experienced pleasure or believed he initiated it, it was abuse, not consent.
