A little bit of Harry Potter magic, a lovely story, and a little cat who deserves her happily ever after. Someone told us on BookFace about their cat who had a much more severe version of Blue's condition, yet lived to a ripe old age. What a wonderful thing to hear, and exactly the kind of hope we needed. Blue has a condition called pectus excavatum, which affects the shape of her chest. We'd obviously rather she didn't have it, but it is what it is, and we're focusing on what matters: giving her the very best chance of a happy life. Our specialist advice and research are encouraging. There's every reason to be hopeful about Blue's future, although, of course, nobody can promise the future for any cat. Blue is neutered, microchipped and fully vaccinated with two Purevax vaccinations. She's ready to find her special person and a loving home. And honestly, if I were going to cast a spell to find this little girl a home, I'd be chanting Pectus Excavatum! It might sound like a Harry Potter spell, but what Blue really needs is a little real-life magic: someone to see beyond her unusual little chest and fall in love with the cat she is. Please share Blue's video. Somewhere out there is the person who could give her the wonderful life she deserves. #RescueCats #CatAdoption #PectusExcavatum #AdoptDontShop #greykitten
