𝐂𝐎𝐋𝐑𝐄𝐆𝐒 𝐑𝐔𝐋𝐄 𝟐𝟓: 𝐒𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐬 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐬 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐚𝐫𝐬 Under COLREGS Rule 25, a sailing vessel underway and a vessel under oars must display the appropriate navigation lights. A sailing vessel underway shall exhibit sidelights and a sternlight. When the vessel is less than 20 meters in length, these lights may be combined in one lantern carried at or near the top of the mast. A sailing vessel may also display red over green all-round lights, but these are optional.
