🚨 IN NIGERIA, ARE YOU REALLY SURE YOU KNOW WHAT YOU’RE EATING, DRINKING OR SWALLOWING? That expensive bottle behind the bar — is it genuine? That medication from the shelf — is it genuine? That palm oil and packaged food — can you trust what’s inside? This isn’t just about being cheated out of your money. Counterfeit and adulterated products are making people sick, and dangerous products can kill. Fake alcohol. Counterfeit medication. Adulterated palm oil and food products. Fake versions of major brands. How did we get to a point where buying an everyday product can feel like gambling with your health? I’ve personally been a victim. I once bought what was sold to me as Cîroc in Abuja, drank it, and became seriously sick for days. I cannot independently say what was inside that particular bottle, but that experience changed the way I look at what we consume. When counterfeit alcohol, food and medication enter bars, shops and supermarkets, this is no longer just a consumer-protection problem — it is a public-health and safety crisis. Nobody should have to wonder whether the food they are eating, the drink they are buying or the medicine they are taking is genuine or potentially dangerous. Nigeria needs stronger enforcement, traceability, regulation and public awareness. If you suspect a product is fake, report it. Don’t gamble with your health by consuming it. ⚠️ CHECK IT. VERIFY IT. REPORT IT. YOUR LIFE IS WORTH MORE THAN THE PRODUCT YOU PAID FOR. #Nigeria #FakeProducts #CounterfeitProducts #FakeAlcohol #FakeDrugs
