On Sunday, Velvet Smith and I had the honor of hosting a book signing for Justin Jenkins and his powerful book, From Felonies to Favor: The Fall. I was grateful to write the foreword and be part of celebrating his story. One of the activities was called “What’s Your Story?” Guests created and decorated bookmarks to use while reading Justin’s book. Each bookmark also represented the chapter they are currently living in and a chance to reflect on where they are in life and make the story their own. This book is for anyone who has struggled with addiction, faced difficult seasons, or is working toward a new beginning. Justin’s story reminds us that our past does not have to define our future. Please support Justin by purchasing From Felonies to Favor: The Fall and taking the time to read his story. It may encourage someone who needs hope. https://a.co/d/07ndsNTB?utm_source=chatgpt.com #fyp #community #booksigning #drugaddiction #incarceration
