🔥 FULLMETALBILL — HAPPY BIRTHDAY TAIME DOWNE! 🔥 September 29, 1964 Today we crank it up for Taime Downe, born Gustave Molvik — the unmistakable voice and wild frontman who helped define the sleazy, dangerous side of the Los Angeles Sunset Strip in the glory days of ’80s hard rock! 🤘🏼🔥 Before the Strip became a memory, Faster Pussycat were right in the middle of the chaos — leather, attitude, dirty riffs, big hair and absolutely ZERO apologies. Formed in the mid-’80s, Faster Pussycat hit hard with their self-titled debut in 1987, followed by Wake Me When It’s Over in 1989 and Whipped! in 1992. Tracks like “Bathroom Wall,” “House of Pain,” “Poison Ivy” and “Nonstop to Nowhere” captured the raw, bluesy, sleazy edge that separated Faster Pussycat from the more polished side of the glam-metal explosion. 🎸⚡ Taime wasn’t just another singer on the Strip — he became one of its unmistakable characters. His snarling vocals, outrageous stage presence and larger-than-life personality helped make Faster Pussycat one of the bands that defined the wilder side of that legendary era. And when the Sunset Strip party changed, Taime didn’t disappear. His musical journey expanded into industrial and electronic territory, including work with Pig and other projects, before bringing Faster Pussycat back to the stage. But for those of us who remember the Sunset Strip when it was loud, dangerous and alive, that Faster Pussycat sound still takes you right back. 🔥 Happy Birthday, Taime Downe! Keep the sleaze alive. Keep the volume LOUD. 🤘🏼🔥 FULLMETALBILL #FullMetalBill #TaimeDowne #FasterPussycat #GlamMetal #HardRock
