Today was all about looking at how the 10 wands paintings I’ve done so far visually talk to each other as a suit… I made a major change to the colour of the 6, even though I really liked it individually… It just didn’t suit the story of the wands, well actually it glared out strangely when I put them all together along the table.  I had to be pretty brave to slap that blue on the orange! So relieved it worked out well! The 4 also got some work done on it… Which… After  a successful weekends trading at the malvern autumn show, it feels rather appropriate to be polishing up 4 celebration and 6  victory! When I’m back in the studio in a few days I’ll go over all the actual wands in the wand cards starting with the ace..
