𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗸𝗮| 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗵𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗿 𝗕𝗵𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗼 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗮 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲, 𝗟𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗮𝗻𝗮 ✨ students from Chandka Institute conducted an educational and clinical study visit to the Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Thalassemia Centre under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Azhar Ali Tunio. ​The exposure visit aimed to provide students with hands-on insight into the clinical management, blood transfusion protocols, and holistic care provided to patients living with thalassemia. During the tour, Dr. Azhar Ali Tunio briefed the students on the pathophysiology, diagnostic procedures, and preventive strategies associated with hemoglobinopathies, emphasizing the crucial role of pre-marital screening and public awareness in reducing the disease burden in Pakistan.
