CW: SA, drugging, institutional negligence. If you’re a dude watching this, don’t scroll away. We need to look at what just happened at Cornell University, and we need to face the collective cowardice that makes it possible. A 101-page civil complaint filed in Manhattan Supreme Court reveals an alleged hours-long, ketamine-facilitated gang r*pe of a 20-year-old student inside Cornell’s Chi Phi fraternity. While she was completely incapacitated, a notification went out to their chapter’s active Snapchat group chat telling the entire house there was “free p****” upstairs. That notification lit up dozens of phones, but nobody said a word. The institutional response has also been dog****. The Tompkins County DA declined criminal charges. Cornell University - expelled only two students (a good sign they’re gonna lose the lawsuit seeing as they expelled any at all), while letting others off with workshops and writing REFLECTIVE ESSAYS. The school’s own Dean of Students admitted on record that their campus task force was “never charged to solve the problem.” This is really awful. Let’s talk below. #cornell #sexualassault #fraternity #believewomen — RESOURCES & CRISIS SUPPORT (24/7): • Canada: Canadian Women’s Foundation / Crisis Support (1-866-863-0511) • US: RAINN National Sexual Assault Hotline (1-800-656-4673 / rainn.org) SOURCES: • The Cornell Daily Sun Editorial Board: https://www.cornellsun.com/article/2026/09/editorial-cornell-won-t-we-will • The Wrap (Lawsuit reporting & Florence Pugh statement): https://www.thewrap.com/industry-news/business/florence-pugh-calls-men-condemn-cornell-gang-rape/ • Manhattan Supreme Court Civil Filing: Jane Doe v.
