There is life after the foster care system and I am living proof of that along with so many others. Let people talk, but don’t let them make you think any less of yourself because you’re a care kid. Care kids are stronger than most a young age because we didn’t have any other choice. Once upon a time I was afraid to mention or even admit that my parents weren’t good and in some ways they never got better. And if either of them see this then GOOD.
