An Annual Performance Agreement (APA) is a formal, results-oriented contract signed between government leadership and public institutions to establish clear targets, evaluate institutional performance, and enforce public accountability. Objectives in an APA directly reflect the priorities laid out in Bhutanโ€™s national Five-Year Plans (FYPs) and sector strategies, ensuring that daily bureaucratic actions align with long-term national policies. The performance agreement has been reinstated to outline and achieve key targets and priorities for the upcoming fiscal year 2026-27 and those in the 13th FYP. #Bhutan #thebhutanesenewspaper #Media #aggrement
