According to the university, the online screening exercise is mandatory for Direct Entry candidates seeking admission into LASU for the 2026/2027 Academic Session. The screening is open to all eligible Direct Entry candidates, including LASU Foundation (JUPEB) candidates, who have obtained the Direct Entry Form from the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and selected LASU as their first-choice institution. LASU stated that, except for NCE into Faculty of Education programmes, only the LASU Diploma is acceptable for Direct Entry admission.
