As someone with symptomatic joint hypermobility I cannot always annihilate my workout program. I try to lift weights as much as my body allows, but if I feel a weird flare up coming on or my muscle don’t feel quite right.. I sit it out. That’s how I give myself time to heal, rest, and be ready to lift again in the future. It’s a balancing act. 1. Quad Single Leg Raises 2. Side lying adductions 3. Cat/Cow 4. Dead bug 5. Lumbar Rotation 6. Lumbar Rocks 7. Ankle Circles 8. Bridge with overhead reach (keeping ribcage aligned over pelvis) 9. ACTIVE TUMMY TIME- not a passive stretch. I am holding my head up with SUPPORT from the block. 10. Cobra push ups… All is slow and controlled. I do maybe 1-3 sets of 10 per exercise depending how I feel. The stretches I hold maybe 10-30 seconds. This isn’t exercise prescription. Always consult a qualified physician before beginning an exercise program. #hypermobile #gentlemovement #hypermobility #homeworkout #workoutadvice
