@Love Spells might be one of the most exciting up-and-coming acts in the dreamy, heartbreak heavy side of indie right now. I originally discovered them through @Day Wave , with Jackson Phillips producing the single “Love Costs” in 2024, I’ve been hooked ever since. There’s something about Sir Taegen Harris’ vocals and the way Love Spells captures that hazy, intimate feeling that feels reminiscent of Cigarettes After Sex, but with a sound and identity entirely their own. The debut album LOVE IS THE LAW has really put him on the map, and after opening for Sharon Van Etten & The Attachment Theory, it feels like they’re only getting started. Here he is performing “Crutch” live with @Pigeons & Planes #lovespells #cigarettesaftersex
