While the U.S. and Mexico are scheduled to meet for more formal USMCA talks in September, there are no further trade talks planned between American and Canadian officials. High-stakes trade negotiations between the U.S. and Canada broke down Aug. 21, after which the White House implemented a series of new tariffs on Canadian goods.
