Urban fishing will always have something different about it for me. 🎣 I love a proper fishery too, but there’s something about a public park lake where you genuinely don’t know what could be swimming around in front of you. No carefully documented stock list. No guarantee every fish has been caught ten times. There could be carp in there that haven’t seen a hook — or a camera — for years. Then you’ve got people walking past who’ve never even seen a carp before, absolutely blown away by a fish we might consider average. 😂 It can be chaotic, it can be rough around the edges, but that mystery is exactly why I love it.
