Best of the Rest 1985: UTFO "UTFO" The group made history with the Roxanne Wars. Dozens of artists put out response records responding to UTFO, the most famous of those is Roxanne Shante's debut single "Roxanne's Revenge". Then another female rapper called the Real Roxanne answered back with "The Real Roxanne", which is included on this album. "The Real Roxanne" and "Calling Her a Crab (Roxanne Part 2)" serve as answer songs of other artists' attacks. The production was handled by Full Force and features the shifting sound of hip hop with drums and snares leaving the disco and electro sound behind. One of the best things about UTFO is their DJ Mixmaster Ice. He’s ill on the 1s & 2s and always provides dope scratches.
